How are the two monitors connected? What is input to monitor? HDMI, SDI, VGA displayport/min-displayport? What Thunderbolt busses are you using?
What OSX version?
Did it work before?
It's teh new mac pro so going out from the 2 thunderbolt ports to DVI
it's osx 10.9.3
the creens have worked for years on my old mac pro
Are they connected to different Thunderbolt busses as I as before? The link I provided in my previous reply says you should do that and includes an image showing what ports are on what bus.

Do the two monitor work OK individually?
It seems to be working now 🙂
I just putb the two thunderbolyt cables going straight down instead of across
Thanks for your help
Sorry,
I'll take that back
it's still doing it 😟
Does it work OK with both monitors connected one at a time?
If you switch Thunderbolt ports does it change the monitor effected?
- If you only switch adopters keeping same TB port and monitor on the same TB connector what happens?
I am trying to determine if problem is with Mac/Thunderbolt port, the monitor or adopter
yeah works fine seperatly.
and when you plug them in while computer is running,
Its' when you shut down and reboot it messes up.
might tey usimg the hdmi poer for one of the monitors
10.9.4 is said to have some fixes for screens that do not wake up after sleep.
When's that out?
When's that out?
