General>Accessibility>Assistive Touch.
Assuming the phone is in a usable state, you can use Assistive touch to power it off. If it's not, then either magic, or let the battery run flat.
The problem right now is that I only see the apple. And that the phone does not show up in Ithunes.
Is the only alternative to wait out the battery?
That or make an appointment at the genius bar of your local Apple Store and get it fixed/replaced.
