Why won't Logic sense my voice?

HI!

Say, whenever I open a previous or new project, no track in Logic i try to use senses my voice, even though my USB mic is hooked up in the correct input, everything is properly enabled, and logic even says its connected.. It just won't read or record my vocals!

Can anyone offer a suggestion? (It's not on mute haha)
