Multi core / Multi cpu support started fairly far in the past:

The Power Mac G4 (2000), could be gotten with dual CPUs.

The Power Mac G5 (2005), could get gotten with as many as 2 CPUs, each being dual core.

iMacs, Mac mini and MacBooks start getting dual cores in 2006 with the shift to intel based CPUs (Core Duo).

The iPhone 4s (2011) is the first dual core iPhone.

The iPad 2 (2011) is the first dual core iPad.
