My iphone 4 screen will not turn on but when i plug it into my wall charger, it makes a sound indicating that it works and its charging. However, my lock button is broken , so i cannot reboot it , and my fully updated itunes refuses to recognize my phone, even though my computer notes its presence. How do i fix this?
same problem... lock button doesn't work and when plugged into mac shows up on iPhoto but not iTunes.. Still rings when called but nothing else works on the phone.
I have an answer!
This happened to me, so all I did was let it run out of power. I basically let it the power seep out for about a day or two, and when I plugged it bck in, it rebooted by itself.
It may not be the most efficient way to fix it, but it works
