Wifi but no internet connectivity

So, we've had our apple TV (gen 2) for years and it's been great.

Last night, for the very first time, it had a hissy fit and wouldn't reboot - it simply flashed its white LED continuously.

Searching for and finding helpful advice in this community, I connected the ATV to my computer and reset/updated the unit via iTunes.

Today, I have hooked it all back up, and it appears to be working fine, except that, I simply cannot get it to find an internet connection. It is connected to the wifi network fine, but no internet connectivity. Other devices I have, using the same wifi/internet connection are working fine.

I have rebooted/reset the ATV so many times this morning I have lost count.

I have rebooted my router on several occasions, still to no avail.

I have entered in network information both manually and via my iPad. No dice.

We are running Windows 8 with a Netcomm Maxx router/modem.

Help, please?
