iPhone not recognized in iTunes after updating

I just updated iTunes to it latest version (11.3.0.54), and now iTunes is not recognizing my iPhone (5s).

I'm running Windows 8.1, and it's recognizing my phone, both in the device manager and file explorer, I can even access my photos and the phone is charging.

This happened after updating, tried re-installing iTunes but nothing happened. I run iTunes Diagnostics and it says that there are no USB ports.

All help appreciated, I really need to sync my phone!

Finally, after a few hours of looking, this is the solution: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538?viewlocale=en_US

Apparently, after updating it deleted the Apple USB driver.
