Problems adjusting Express Security settings

Please look on the side of the AirPort Express for the model number. Hard to see in the faint print.....you may need a magnifying glass.....starts with an "A" followed by four numbers.


If you see A1084 or A1088, these are older 8+ years versions of the AirPort Express that are not supported by the Mavericks operating system.


Use....or borrow....another Mac running Leopard or Snow Leopard, or a PC with AirPort Utility installed to administer the older version of the Express.


If you see A1264 or A1392, then these versions can be administered by Macs running Mavericks.
