Traditional Mongolian display

Hi. I am using MacBook Pro Mountain Lion 10.8.5 and I am experiencing a problem with the display of traditional Mongolian characters. I have about a dozen of fonts installed, but the script is always displayed as separate characters, not as words (except for PDFs). I don't really know what could be done for it to be displayed correctly: I tried different browsers, different fonts. My PC does the same work perfectly fine, with the same fonts installed. One would think that Unicode should be displayed correctly on any device. Can it be helped?User uploaded file

For some scripts it takes more than just Unicode. Word for Mac cannot even display connected Arabic or any Indic script correctly.

Classic Mongolian is one of the hardest to do right. See
