I can't send iMessages to one person

All of a sudden I can't send my girlfriend iMessages but i can send them to everyone else with an iPhone, she is having the same problem that she can send iMessages to everyone but me. I have tried resetting my network settings and turning iMessage off and on again and rebooting my phone.
