Finder window doesn't show directories and file after latest OS update

Hi,

since the latest OS update I can't use finder anymore.

It shows a totally unusable screen.

Please see attached screenshot.

Select

View ▹ Show View Options

from the Finder menu bar. In the dialog that opens, select

Arrange by: None

Solution worked for me. Followed suggested action to arrange by: None then I set as default. Restart was required to return Finder results to expected results.
