I want to calculate the total amount for a certain month and with a certain class from a table.
By using Excel if could get the result with sumproduct
=sumproduct(table1[Total]*(table1[class]=$A2)*(month(table1[Date])=month(B$1)))
It works perfectly in Excel. But it doesn't work in numbers.
I tried to transfer the .xlsx file with the correct formula in to Numbers, but the function still doesn't work.
Excel has true "array" formulas. Numbers doesn't. That is probably the reason that particular SUMPRODUCT formula works in Excel, but not in Numbers.
If you give more details (including screenshots if possible) about what you are trying to do, someone here can advise how best to accomplish it in Numbers.

The structure of that formula looks like the old Excel way of doing a SUMIF or SUMIFS. It appears that you want to sum the totals that meet the conditions class=$A2 and date=Month($B1). For that, you would use the SUMIFS function.
