Macbook Air or Pro??

Guyzz.. m just an engineering student so I want you all to suggest me which macbook should I buy Air or Pro?? I will be just doing programing on it like c,c++,java.....etc. and nothing else ? plz suggest me with your opinion about its speed,exection time....etc.
