Finder: search for files and delete the resulting matches

sorry for a very basic question, at least it feels like one:

in Finder (10.9.3), I want to search for files matching a certain condition.

Fine.

I get a resulting list of files in one of several folders.

Now: how can I delete them, meaning e.g. sending the matching files to Trash?

Selecting all would not give me a 'delete' option in the context menu ....

/hints welcome :-)
