IPOD classic with video
How do I fix my Ipod classic when I turn it on the apple icon appears but then a red circle with an X in the middle ?
Plug it in to iTunes see if it gets detected.
iTunes may tell you that it needs restoring - you will need to do that. Restoring will erase the device & all the files on it.
The iPod troubleshooting assistant may help too…
