How do I get my password to work?

Every time I try to update, I am asked for my password. it doesn't recognize it, I have to reset and then it still doesn't recognize it. I reset all my parameters on iforgot and then. When I try to get it to respond to my birthdate, it says it isn't the one on file. But when I check my account settings, it is correct. Makes me wish I bought something else.
