I recently bought an iPod Touch 5 which I love EXCEPT that the playlists dont sync with
my iTunes! I tried reinstalling both several times, restarting my PC and everything else I could think of but nothing helps.
Any idea?
What exactly happens when you try to sync?
Does iTunes see the iPod?
Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

What exactly happens when you try to sync?
Up til now it didnt sync at all, right now what happens is it syncs some but others remain empty
(this is not the case on iTunes)

Yes

Same computer, but I had iPod 3 before.

Yes, not playlists however only mp3s
If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
I updated iTunes since the last time, yes
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Yes
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

The correct boxes to check are here:

If you did not do this then try:
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
