How to install freehand on Mac OSX 10.8 operating system
You can't. At least not directly. Snow Leopard was the last version of OS X it ran in, and not reliably. Worked for some, and not others. Officially, Adobe didn't even support it for Snow Leopard.
If you really need it, your only choice is to purchase Snow Leopard Server and install it in a virtual machine, such as Parallels, VMware, or Virtual Box. Once you have SL Server running in the VM, then install Freehand.
Note that this must be the last version of Freehand to have any possible chance of it even working under SL Server. That would be Freehand MX, version 11.0.2. Older versions will not work at all.
Just crossed my noodle. You could also install the previous OS release, Leopard Server (10.5.x rather than 10.6.x). That will much more likely be able to run Freehand in a VM.
