Samsung printer software update 2.6 tries to update/install daily

My App Store shows a software update for "Samsung Printer Software Update 2.6" which appears to download and install successfully whenever I "Update", yet it appears every day or so again as an update to do... (screenshot below). I downloaded the software outside of the App Store and installed, again to no success.

The printer I use is a Samsung CLX-3180 Series printer, it works without any issues. I'd just like this update business to finish...

all suggestions appreciated!

Hi Jan ..

Since your printer is working ok, ignore the update at the App Store for the time being.

You can turn off: Automatically check for updates in System Preferences > App Store

In that same pane, you can check for updates anytime by clicking; Check Now
