Jul 12, 2014 3:21 PM in response to glennfromaucklandby BobHarris,NOTE: This is the Mountain Lion forum, and Notes access has changed between Lion and Mountain Lion.
Notes on Lion are accessible via the Applications -> Mail app.
If this does not work for you, I would suggest using the Lion Forum, as at least the people visiting that forum will either be using Lion, or have a Lion mind set when responding.

Jul 12, 2014 6:38 PM in response to BobHarrisby glennfromauckland,Hi, thanks for your reply.
Theres probably not much difference between Mountain Lion and Lion in regards to 'notes'.
I know that there are notes in the mail app, but I am trying to find the "notes" app. As in the one that is on my iPhone and iPad.
The notes in the mail app are different, and I don't believe they sync with notes from iPhone.
Thanks

Jul 12, 2014 6:52 PM in response to glennfromaucklandby BobHarris,There is "No" Notes app on Lion. I have a Lion system. No Notes App on my Lion system.
When the Notes app came along, Mail lost its Notes integration. So if you have Notes in Mail, there is No Notes App. Lion has Notes in Mail. -
Jul 12, 2014 7:15 PM in response to BobHarrisby glennfromauckland,Then my question has to be, how do I get my notes from my iPhone onto my mac?
It should still automatically sync them from iCloud to my mac, otherwise its like technology working backwards, and I'd be better off with the older OS.
Cheers

Jul 12, 2014 7:34 PM in response to glennfromaucklandby BobHarris,Also check your iPhone to make sure Notes are setup to Sync via the same iCloud account via iPhone -> Settings -> Notes -> Default Account
and iPhone -> Settings -> iCloud -> Account
and iPhone -> Settings -> iCloud -> Notes
The above iPhone info was for iOS 7 (not sure exactly what previous iOS version settings would be).
