Someone has stolen my iPhone 4s ios 7. Please Help me!

Hi everyone,

My iPhone 4S with ios 7 with a passcode has been taken. I didn't back up my data on to iCloud on itunes. Will the person who has taken my iPhone be able to break in and have access to my details on my iPhone 4S that has been taken. Is there a way to erase my data. This is my first time that I''ve lost my iPhone 4S.

I didn't install Find my iPhone on to my 4S, Is there another way that I could track it down?

Thank you.

If you did not enable Find My Phone then it cannot be tracked.

What To Do If Your iDevice Is Lost Or Stolen

iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad

If you activated Find My Phone before it was lost or stolen, you can track it only if it is connected to the Internet by Wi-Fi or cellular. What you cannot do is track your device using a serial number or other identifying number. You cannot expect Apple or anyone else to find your device for you. You cannot recover your loss unless you insure your device for such loss. It is not covered by your warranty.

If your iPhone, iPod, iPod Touch, or iPad is lost or stolen what do you do? There are things you should have done in advance - before you lost it or it was stolen - and some things to do after the fact. Here are some suggestions:

how many tries does it take for the passcode to get locked for awhile or permantly? Its been turned off after i've been trying to call it a couple of times hoping someone would pick it up and sending messages asking it back and saying that I have been in contact with the police and can be able be track it down (Police didnt end up helping) and giving it a few more calls and after that they it turned off.

Thanks kappy for you time to reply.

First five failed attempts, you can try again.

6th failed passcode, 1 minute delay before you can try again.

7th, 5 minute delay.

8th, 15 minute delay.

9th or higher, 60 minute delay.

I've heard that it will continue to increase to an insane amount, like 1,000,000 minutes, but that's unconfirmed as far as I know.

Also, if you enabled the 'Erase Data' after 10 failed attempts' option under Settings > General > Passcode, then on the tenth failed attempt, the iPhone data is wiped out completely.
