My Iphone 5C will connect to my bluetooth but I cannot voice dial

My Iphone 5C will connect to my 2013 Honda Accord Bluetooth but I cannot voice dial. I can see the call history using the display button but when I try to voice call it interprets names as numbers (random non phone numbers). Also if I try to display call history using voice command it shows an empty call lists for All call types (missed , received, dialed)
