Trouble adding yahoo mail

I get a message that says " IMAP.apple.mail.yahoo.com" is not responding. The wifi is fine. I can use safari. My itouch is one of the first ones. There is nowhere to put on outgoing or incoming mail server info. Just plain mail .

Unless you have a paid Yahoo account you have to setup the Yahoo mail as a POP3 account, not an IMAP account.

I Have no choices. Just add an account . I have been through all the steps & no luck. It always worked when I first got it. Any suggestions?

Also try resetting your Yahoo password.
