I have a good internet connection on my iMac (Mavericks). Except in Aperture, I can not use iCloud or maps or other account (such as Facebook). Aperture indicates that there is no internet connection.
Do you have a Firewall or Anti virus software enabled? For example, Little Snitch might be intercepting Aperture's connections to the map server.

With help form Apple I found the problem.... The third party software who gives the problem was Backblaze (backup software). After a uninstall the problem was over....
Now I unstall Backblaze again and it looks fine again.
Aperture indicates that there is no internet connection.
