cannot receive iCloud email on mac but can on iPad/iphone

I have a mac air late 2013 and iPad (3) and iPhone (4s). Just recently my macair has stopped receiving iCloud email to my account, but emails appear on iPad and iPhone and of course on iCloud. The only thing that has changed recently has been my change of primary email on apple id.
