iMovie help

I Am trying to make a movie tutorial using iMovie and I clicked on the video and it came up on speed (the one I wanted to go on) and I wanted to fast forward it maybe x2 x3 but it wouldn't do anything it would just slow it down or keep it the same .I have a picture below and I wanted to know how to fasten it up x3 or x2.
