Ethernet connection lost when display enters sleep mode.
Hi lose my ethernet connection when my iMac display goes to sleep. Does anyone have a reason why? My computer is set to never go to sleep. I am running OS X Mountain lion.

The Ethernet connect should not be dropping if only the Display is Sleeping.
First try resetting your SMC, as per > Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller, to make sure that you are not having any other SMC related power problems.
1. Shut down the computer.
2. Unplug the computer's power cord.
3. Wait fifteen seconds.
4. Attach the computer's power cord.
5. Wait five seconds, then press the power button to turn on the computer.
Then in addition to the Never Sleep Computer to Never setting,
click the Schedule... button and make sure that you do not have a Sleep time scheduled.

Thanks, Den, for replying. This really didn't change my problem. What did, though, was checking the box to allow FaceTime callers when set on "DO NOT DISTURB," even though "DO NOT DISTURB" was unchecked. Not sure why that worked, but am happy it did. Thanks again for replying to my post.
Aha' good one, thanks for reporting what you found. I don't use Face Time, Skype, Google Hangouts, or any other video based chat-ware.
