Radio logs - Edit out music, keep presenter voice.

I had a request from a presenter/trainer at our community radio station.

I record all station output (songs and presenter comments between songs), to mp3.

We want to be able to take the files and strip the songs out,

leaving only the presenters comments etc. between songs, for training evaluation.

Automatically would be better than manually of course...:-)

I thought if any app could achieve it, then Logic X might be able.

But not sure if possible or where to start...

Usually there is a little patch of silence between song and presenter talk...

but not always, could use that as a start?

Any ideas how I could tackle the problem?

Any help appreciated.
