I accidentally erased Macintosh HD using Disk Utility please help

Hello I feel so dumb right now, It all started out by me just purchasing a Mac Mini today and the guy never restored it to factory settings so I decided to give it a try so I looked it up on Google and tried the first thing that popped up and I ended up erasing my Macintosh HD and now when I hit Alt on startup it shows Recovery only and then it'll load up to the Mac OS X Utilities screen and I don't have a restall disc either 😟 Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

P.S I have 10.7 Lion if that helps.

The 2009 Mini does not have Internet recovery but does have a Recovery partition if Lion or later was installed on the HD.

Lion (and Mountain Lion) is locked to to the original purchaser since those are paid update unlike Mavericks.

Did you get the original OSX install disks with the Mini?

You should be able to purchase Lion or Mountain Lion and then redeem the code during setup

If you have another Mac with Mavericks, Lion or Mountain Lion there are ways to install that to the "new" Mini
