My iMac runs the current Mavericks version (10.9.4), and I just set up a 3T Time Capsule. Now the data folder on my Time Capsule has an icon of three people. Can anyone tell me what that means? Does Apple provide definitions of their folder icons?
I'm concerned that it means the folder is public. Which I really don't want since it contains my backups.
Any info is appreciated. Thanks
It means that the folder is shared with other users.......IF......you provide them with the disk password for the Time Capsule.
Even if you share the drive with other users, they will not be able to "see" your Time Machine backups unless they are using your Mac and are logged on as you.
