Sep 25, 2014 5:58 PM in response to babowaby Apple4Ever556,this is what they told me
Thanks for choosing Apple. Hi Byron,
I'm glad to hear from you once more. I would like to let you know that we want to have your concern resolved as much as you do at the earliest time possible. Also, Apple would like to process each request accurately.
To start, I understand that you have the following accounts on the iTunes Store:
Byron, I do apologize for the miscommunication or confusion with the information regrading your issue in wanting to transfer your purchases, but it's not possible to transfer purchases from one Apple ID to another. We do get these requests from other loyal iTunes Store customers, but unfortunately, Apple wants to emphasize that the security of our customer’s accounts is important. As an alternative, I can suggest that you copy purchases between computers.
You can play all of the titles you’ve purchased across multiple accounts by authorizing your computer for each account. Your iTunes Plus purchases don’t require authorization, and can be played on any computer you own or synced to any AAC-enabled device (such as iPod, iPhone, or Apple TV.)
If you have purchases that require authorization, you can follow these steps:
1) Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes. You can download it free of charge here:
2) Open iTunes.
3) From the Store pull-down menu at the top, choose Authorize This Computer.
4) Enter one of your account names and the password for the account. If you have forgotten the password, you can reset it here:
My Apple ID
5) Click Authorize.
Repeat steps 3 to 5 for each of your accounts.
You can authorize up to five computers to play purchases made with one account. To learn more about iTunes Store authorization and deauthorization, please visit:
You can download many of your past purchases at no extra charge. To learn how, visit this article:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBooks Store, and iTunes Store
Also, for more information about Apple IDs, please read this article:
Frequently asked questions about Apple ID
I know we have not been able to come to your desired resolution, however, I hope that I was able to appropriately explain the matter to you and provide another solution to your concerns.
In light of the current circumstances, I hope you have a wonderful day, and please feel free to contact us again if you have further concerns with your iTunes Store account.
Sincerely,Adrian
iTunes Store Customer SupportThank you for allowing me the opportunity to assist you.

Sep 25, 2014 11:16 PM in response to Apple4Ever556by babowa,Byron, I would do it in a heartbeat if I thought that it would actually help. See, they are really fussy about that Apple ID thing: one is that they won't let anybody transfer purchases from one Apple ID to another - so if they refuse to do it for you, they probably wouldn't even discuss it with somebody else. The idea might work if the person could go with you to the store, but I don't think it would work over the phone. But, can you reply to that email you got? That same person (Adrian)? It's late now - but tomorrow or the next day I will compose an email for you to that person. i will let you know when it's ready and then email it to you (you can put your email in your bio page for a short while when I tell you, ok). I will try to explain the special circumstances for you in the email.
Does that sound okay? You'll also need to give me the case number or you can put it in the subject line.

Sep 26, 2014 6:56 PM in response to Apple4Ever556by babowa,I've a first draft email ready - will need a little more info, so put your email address in your bio, and I'll contact you later or tomorrow.

Sep 28, 2014 1:18 PM in response to Apple4Ever556by babowa,I copied it just now so you can take it back off.
I am about to leave, but I'll send you a PDF of the draft right now. I want you to look it over and see if you want to add any important details or if it's ok. Then I will copy and paste the whole thing into an email. That way you can copy and paste into the email - you can hit reply to their last email and then paste it in - put your name on the bottom. I also have the name of a Vice President we will try to copy the email to - I'll give that to you as well.
Or, if you want, I can send it as a PDF and you can just attach it to an email with "Thank you; my response is attached".
