i want to upload a dvd to my mac from an exterior device. the device clicks into my usb port and it allows me to play the dvd but i want to save the movie to my mac air and disconnect the dvd device.

Select the movies From the drive.
1] Click on one film
2] use CMD Button + click to To select more films
3] From the menu - edit > copy ..
4] open the folder you want -- From the menu - edit > paste ..
If this DVD is a commercial movie, it is illegal to copy it.
