Recently upgrade to 10.1.2 Having been unable to export following updating OS to 10.9.3.
i still have the project files on my HD that I was working on prior to the update. My question is, how do I import these into the version I am working with now, as they are not in a library?
YYou don't import projects and events. You update them from within the app.
HAve these been updated already?
Have you trashed prefferences? Command + Option when you launch will bring up a dialog.

YYou use the Update function in the File menu. This updates projects and events on a selected drive if they are located in the correct location recognized by FCP in appropriate Final Cut Projects and Final Cut Events folders.
