Restoring iPad 2

I have a problem after resetting ipad, it stuck with apple logo n after i leave it in few hour its appear "dead", pressing home button doesn't do anything, so i try to connect it to itunes from pc, instead of itunes connected sign on ipad screen it show's battery low sign. I've tried pressing both home button n sleep/wake button many times but it did nothing.. please help
