SMB Login Tool?

Hello

Since years I am frustrated on the way to connect from a Windows PC to a OS X based server. To activate the auto reconnect doesn't work properly! it works once and then I need to enter manuelly the Name/PW

For that I made a netlogin.bat and but it in

CALL WAIT 10

net use z: "\\172.24.84.100\SharePoint\" /user:abc xyz

This is offcourse an unsecure login. Is their no way or tool to connect from windows to and mac based? The Windows PC (XP Pro & Windows 7 Pro) are not configured by us but by an supplier of our measure equipment. They most have an own WORKGROUP. I am not interesting in become an Windows Export and editing this Workgroup. I also have no interested to change from OD to AD!!!

I am looking for an easy to Use SMB Login Tool, to do the Mapping?
