did apple have "Live Chat"

I did found out from my friend that apple have a "Live Chat" support to answer any technical question. Is it true?

If the phone is still in warranty, and you haven't damaged the cable, talk to Apple about replacing it. Otherwise buy a new cable. You might want to see it you can borrow another cable, or test the connection on another computer, just to confirm your cable really is at fault. Driver issues can mean that iTunes sometime doesn't see a connected device.

Assuming you haven't treated the cable badly then you can certainly ask them. They will have to look at the condition and the length of time you've owned it before deciding if it might be a manufacturing defect or caused by the user, e.g. coiling too tightly or trapping a door/drawer for example.

If you are running Windows and the device appears in Windows (when there is at least one picture in the camera roll it should) but not iTunes see Re: iTunes Not Recognizing Devices. to rule out a driver issue.
