I want to make a mixed CD for when I drive.

Why can't I burn any of my playlists now? I have a full catalog of music I put on iTunes from my own CDs. Every time I do, it burns one or two songs and then gives unknown error 4450. I read it has to do with copyrights or some stuff like that. So I can never burn a CD now even if it is music I got off CDs I bought and imported to iTunes? Why do I need to ask this question here and I can't ask Apple directly? Any help would be appreciated I am wasting a lot of money on blank CDs.
