Songs on iPhone have a (!) next to them after being deleted.

I deleted some songs off my iPhone while it was plugged in. The songs don't show up anywhere on my phone, as expected, but iTunes still says they're on my phone and has a ⚠ symbol beside them. I can't delete these 'phantom' songs or re-add them now. Any ideas?
