PRINTER INSTALLATION
i want to install a CANON LBP2900 printer to my powerbook G4 running with 10.5.8 OS. Kindly suggest the correct drivers.
As the only official drivers for Mac OS X for that printer are dated 2011, you'll have to search open source drivers*:

And see if any might work with your printer. You are far better trying to find a printer that is known to work with PowerPC Macs such as the ones listed here:
