My external hard drive suddenly won't mount.
I have a mac 0sx version 10.5.8. My WD hard drive suddenly won't mount. Tried running a repair with disc utility-no luck.
Hmmm, so Disk Utility sees it? Did it Repair or not?

Disc Utility sees it and is unable to repair. This is the message: Filesystem verify or repair failed.
What Format is the external drive? HFS+ ?
It's a WD drive. I believe it is HFS+
