error 54
whenever i try to sync my phone, i get error 54? What do I do. I talked to someone last night and they kept telling me to unplug my firewall?? I am very confused
i have itunes 11.3 on a windows 8 computer.
What troubleshooting have you tried? Any search that I have found regarding this error is that it is related to iTunes and a permission error. Try disconnecting the iPhone from the computer, closing iTunes, restarting the computer and opening iTunes back up. Then connect the iPhone and see what happens. The discussions you may be referring to have to do with the firewall on the computer and temporarily disabling it, not unplugging it.
