How do I switch off the metronome in GarageBand 10.0.2?

I have updated GarageBand on my Mac and cannot find how to switch off the metronome (i.e. the repeated noise).


How do I switch it off?


Searched in help but can't find anyhting

Click the Metronome icon in the Toolbar to disable the metronome.

If the icon is not visible, click the ">>" icon to show the missing items.

Also, the symbol that is the end of the track is hidden behind the horizontal zoom in the top right hand corner.

That has been this way, since GarageBAnd 10 has been released. 😟

Use the zoom control in the upper right corner of the Track Area to zoom out as far as possible to show more bars. Then it should be possible to drag the "End of Song" marker to change the duration of the project. Usually a tiny fraction of the marker will peep out behind the zoom controls. If you manage to grab the tip of this marker, the cursor will change to bracket shape - then move the cursor away from the zoom controls.
