How do i take apart an old Studio Display?

So, my girlfriend and I saw this article where someone has taken apart an old Apple Studio Display and turned it into a groovy little cat bed:

The problem though is that I can't find any instructions online as to how to properly take apart one of these displays, and neither of us really has a clue on how to start or what we're getting into should we decide to do this to our old one that's just taking up space in the basement.

Anyone have any links to detailed instructions, or feel like offering up any advice? Thanks!
