Recovery of administrator name
I had moved and lost some of the documentation for my IMac which included the administrator name. I have the password. Because of this I cannot update my system. Any suggestions on how to recover this?
It's the folder name given to your account folder in the /Users/ folder. You should be able to use the administrator's full name if it was configured with it. It is also displayed in the login screen if you get one at startup.
