Device Manager shows iPhone not Apple iPhone

Running Windows 7 and am trying to restore a backup to a new iPhone. I've tried removing all components for iTunes and some other things including someone's fix that's dated 610/2014 but that's not working. When our iPad is plugged in, iTunes see's that, however when I plug in the new iPhone nothing. Device Manager
see's the device as iPhone (with the yellow triangle with the exclamation mark) not Apple iPhone. When I try to update the computer shows 'Installing driver software' but nothing happens. Any suggestions out there?
