Help needed on Mail groups malfunctioning Please!

When I enter a list/group in mail's address to window it multiplies the number of people in it, duplicating some names 10 + times. Really do not know what is happening. If I try a smaller group it is ok. Group in question has nearly 30 people in it. Very frustrating!
