Tried to update Firmware of Brother Printer . Not possible.
I am using OS X 10.9.4. on a Mac Pro Mid 2012
Installed Firmware Ver.1.04 (14.03.13), Printer works OK.
Last Update on Brother Server : Firmware: Vers. 1.19 (08.05.2014).
Latest Java installed, "FirmwareUpdater" is a Java script,
installs the old Firmware, not the latest Update.
Can anybody help.

Did all the steps complete without error?
Visited Brother's Site.
Did a Test Print, OK.
New Installation of last CUPS - Driver.
New installation of FirmwareUpdater.
Tried to install Firmware Update, at the end of installation I have been told installation was successful . No error during the prosecution.
As I searched which Firmware has been installed, in BRAdminLight, found I still had Vers. 1.04
Have tried this 3 or 4 times, but no success.
Have you any hints?
Tried to Contact Brother.
Last two weeks no reply.
Has anybody any good hints ?
