This morning i was on the phone as i went to hang up the apple sign appeared and since then ive had a black screen. Things are still going through to my phone but i cant see them. its only 6 months old! and apart from a cracked screen its been fine.
How do i get this resolved because i refuse to pay for a system fail. Not being horrible but thats not my problem.

Try a reset:
Reset: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and don’t let go until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears (no data will be lost)
Nothing Appeared. I think its the actual screen has just gone completley! Any ideas why this could be?

if it is still warranty, you can always bring it to apple and they will fix it. Do you have an apple care +? If you do, they will simply replace the product

If the reset is not working, I suggest you make a Genius Bar appointment or contact Apple for repair.
If the phone is only 6 months old, it is still under warranty.
If you registered your phone you can sign in here to check your warranty and serial number.
