First time I'm charging my 5s and it's not charging or coming on
JJust bought a new iPhone 5s. I tried to charge it for the first time and it didn't charge. The battery icon shows then it switches to the apple logo continuously

Where exactly did you buy this new iphone? Was it from an authorized Apple dealer? If so take it back and get a replacement.
