How can I save a thread of conversation from my iPhone to desktop computer for future reference?

The only way to do this and remove the conversation from the iPhone is to use 3rd party software. You can search for TouchCopy that can be installed on your computer. I have used this in the past and it works well. There is a free and a paid version, and depending on how much you want to do, you may need the paid version. This is a user to user support forum. Users read posts and if they know an answer will respond. It could very well have been that your post was missed in heavy traffic. Relax a little and you can check out what I provided.
RThank you, Chris. TouchCopy works like a charm, but I needed the paid version to save the consolidated thread of conversation to my desktop computer. I intended to print a copy until I realized it would be 227 pages long, even with the efficient formatting this program provides...

This is an option that apple should include in the future. I personally know of several people who wanted to store their messages. Surprised a print or archive ability isn't included as a standard option in iMessage. How can I make this suggestion to Apple?
